goddamnfuckingaussies

I found another reason to hate Aussies, as if I didn't already have enough of them. And no, it's not cause of something stupid like rugby.

A little while ago, a slew of Australian news sources reported that Paris Hilton lost her inheritence. This almost made me jump up in joy and hug a koala.

This news is, unfortunately, not true, though strangely enough I haven't noticed any retractions of any of the Australian articles. Either they know more than we do (which... considering that they're Aussies, is unlikely)... or their press just doesn't care what they print.

That's upsetting.

Goddamn you Aussies for getting my hopes up.

On a sidenote, I think I'm going to put effort back into blogging and stop using it just as a way to vent excess emotions, at least for a little while. Well, perhaps not this month, as I am going to be out of town... but perhaps it would be a good time to do so for that very reason.

revamped

I know, I know, the only part of the JohannKwan.com site that's ever been up has been the photo-section and it pretty much only consisted of old photos. I want to completely remove the other sections because I no longer work those fields, but redesigning an entire website takes way too much time right now.

What I have done though is revamp the photo section for now so it doesn't have such painfully small resolution photos. Mmmmm delicious.

ehs

emo as all fucking hell right now.

Catching a flight in a few hours. It's 4 AM. I should probably catch a nap.

Scotch makes things alright.

illuminated

Watched Everything Is Illuminated just now again because it was on demand. I'm less intoxicated than when I saw it last.

I still don't know what to make of it. On one hand, I probably appreciate it more cause I saw Gogol Bordello live recently. On the other, I still think it's a good movie, but.. I don't know really what to make of it.. and this is only because the end.. doesn't seem to end, a plague of many modern films.

I am picky about my movies sometimes. Rarely, but sometimes.

But it's probably Elijah Wood's best role ever. And I heard my flight attendants talking about how awesome of a passenger he was and how he was totally okay with getting moved back on a packed flight into coach.

I guess that's another reason I just had to see that movie again tonight. Plus the fact that I barely remembered it.

I have to be up in 4 hours.

*sighs*

Don't really know what to say right now. Slimmed down the Bluesfest photos, instead of 14 Gigs I now have 1 to pick through. Then Photoshop.

Hooray.

Being back in TO is a weird sensation. I don't miss it all that much, really, but it's nice being back nonetheless. But television... I will honestly probabaly never sleep this short break, and just watch movies all night. Next up on the list is probably something a little less heavy. Well, heavy, but not. Like Taxi Driver. Mmm young De Niro and Scorsese.

Bluesfest is over.

Apparently I draw stuff when I'm drunk. I found stuff on my desk that is just... wow.

She ripped out my heart, you know.

Bluesfest pictures to come sooner or later.

yellowfever

So we all know that yellow fever is that thing, where white boys love the asian girls and all like "whoa flat chests and indistinguishable features!"

What is the reverse of that?

*on the bus, whispered*

"Wow, you are hot. I have never seen a good looking asian guy with such beautiful hair as yours and... so hot."

If only I didn't have to go elsewhere, I would've gone where those girls were dragging me.

Oh well. I am trying my best not to be a huge slut. It's seriously hard to reverse such habits.
