Bloody effin' hell. It's morning already.
I spent the night re-reading V for Vendetta before watching the film.
Now it's bloody 7 in the morning, I think I'm going to get some coffee and wait till nightfall to hit the sack.
It's too bad the film doesn't make any Catullus references. I always admired the intelligence behind the graphic novel, but it's been dumbed down for audiences in the film.
Which is not to say it's a bad movie, it's probably the most faithful rendition of a graphic novel since Sin City. It's still pretty bloody great.
Except you don't really get the feeling as you do in the comic that it could happen in reality. Simple degeneration and all that. But still... great film.
