Here’s a photo of Laura Blackbeard, shot today in the studio. Before you ask, I kept the flyaways on purpose… felt like they worked well.

Shot at the St. Lawrence Market. He plays a mean sax, and can hold a singing note for a really, really long time.

Plane taking off at night at Billy Bishop. 30 Second exposure. Just wanted to do something on the first properly warm balcony night of the year. Light fog off in the distance. I really like the way that the flashing lights on the plane make regular distinct points along the flightpath.

I’ve always wanted to shoot this staircase, and now I have!

A photo of Emi from last weekend. It was a fun shoot… the photoshop work that went into this might not be obvious, but it’s somewhat extensive. Mostly because I kept on seeing little things I wanted to fix, and kept on going in to fix them, even when I was reasonably sure no one would notice anyway.

It’s nice to finally have something to put up here. I apologize for the lack of updates… almost all my photography the last few months has been for my work at Bell Mobility, so I haven’t had anything to put up. Hopefully I’ll have time to bring a couple rolls of film to develop and I’ll have more to post soon!

Protesters occupying St. James’ Park look on (peaceably) as a wedding party walks out of St. James Cathedral. Protest organizers were quick to discourage any drum circles from forming near the exit to the cathedral.
